Alpha Arbutin Skin Lightening Serum

A natural skin whitening agent: 4% Arbutin,  is a Tyrosinase inhibitor, it inactivates Tyrosinase ( the enzyme responsible for skin darkening) by chelating with its vital copper ion and acts as a reducing agent on the melanin intermediates, thus blocking the oxidation chain reaction at various points from tyrosine /DOPA to melanin.

Arbutin is a skin de-pigmentation and whitening agent, an extract of Bearberry plant which produced by a solid /liquid extraction that is an environmentally friendly process.

Arbutin protects the skin against damage caused by free radicals, Arbutin is a skin whitening agent which is very popular in Japan and Asian countries for skin de-pigmentation, Arbutin inhibits the formation of melanin pigment by inhibiting Tyrosinase activity.

Super Skin Lightening:  Alpha Arbutin Whitening; a-Arbutin 4% is the epimer of arbutin, which has been found to have stronger inhibitory action than that of arbutin, Even in very low concentration, a-arbutin 4% can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase. Its inhibitory mechanism is different from that of arbutin and its intensity is 10 times as much as that of arbutin.

There are two forms of Arbutin-the ALPHA and the BETA one. Both are tyrosinase inhibitors. Structurally Alpha-ARBUTIN (4-hydroxphenyl-a-D-glucopyranoside) is an a-glucoside and BETA-ARBUTIN a B-glucoside. The a-glucosidic bond offers higher stability and efficacy than the B form in the related BETA-ARBUTIN. This leads to a skin lightening active that acts faster and more efficiently than existing single components, minimizes liver spots and reduces the degree of skin tanning after UV exposure.
