The dermis (lower layer) is produced largely by the fibroblasts that produce the collagens and elastins, which make skin very durable, from within.

The basal or cell division layer, this layer is just above the basement membrane and the dermis; it is a single layer of cells that undergo cell division to renew the upper layers of the epidermis.

The most abundant cell type of the epidermis (upper layer) is the keratinocyte, that provide some of the rigidity of the outer layers of the skin

As we age, our bodies become slower to produce collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans (GAG's - the cement that bonds tissue components together).

The Anti-Aging Clinic’s Alpha Hydroxy Deep Therapeutic Cleanser.

            This natural cleanser deeply cleans blocked pores, to remove excessive oils and dead skin cells to promote normal skin sleuthing.  Our organic or fruit acids are milder than mineral acids, and gentler on the skin. These organic acids and specifically the alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) hydrate and moisturize the skin, making it flexible and less susceptible to wrinkles. Natural acids also accelerate cell proliferation within the deeper basal layer of the skin (sleuthing), creating rapid exfoliating action and skin cell regeneration.

Chemically speaking, an alpha-hydroxy acid is a low molecular weight organic acid. Most people associate the word "acid" with potent and dangerous acids like hydrochloric and sulfuric. These acids are called mineral acids and are indeed potent and dangerous. Most are strong enough to dissolve metals. An organic acid however, differs greatly from a mineral acid. Organic acids are much, much milder than mineral acids and occur quite commonly in everyday life. Acetic acid, for example, is the organic acid that gives vinegar its characteristic sour taste.

Alpha-hydroxy acids are commonly found and isolated from fruits of all sorts. That is why they are referred to as fruit acids.

 Long before the existence, of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA's) were known, they were unknowingly being used as an ingredient for improving the condition of skin. Egyptian women took baths in sour milk in order to improve their skin. French women in the court of Louis XIV washed their faces with old wine for the same reasons. Old fashioned facial masks made from fruit, honey or yogurt were also unknowingly taking advantage of AHAs as their active ingredients.

When applied to the skin, these hydrated AHAs act to increase the water content of the skin and thus moisturize the outer layer of the epidermis (the stratum corneum) and consequently make the skin softer and more flexible.

 Additionally, AHAs act by reducing corneocyte adhesion and accelerating cell proliferation within the deeper basal layer of the skin (4,5,6). This exfoliating action of AHAs occurs as a result of their ability to break the bonds between dead skin cells that form at the surface of the skin. Skin normally has a dead layer of cells at its surface (the corneocyte layer), and AHAs can speed up the normal process of skin cell regeneration and sloughing.

The Anti-Aging Clinic’s Rosehip Seed Soap Cleanser.

            Especially formulated for “sensitive skin,” this is a natural vegetable oil based cleanser made of Rosehip Seed Oil and other essential oils, and Seaweed Extract to hydrate and rejuvenate skin with natural vitamins and nutrients.

The Anti- Aging Clinic’s Herbal Toner.

            Ingredients are Purified Water, Witch Hazel, Hyaluronic Acid and herbs, used to remove dull skin cells and refresh the face.

By washing the skin with a skin friendly acidic solution or AHA’s or Rose Hipps in lieu of soaps, it is possible to remove dirt and oil without completely stripping the skin’s therapeutic and protective, hydrolipidic layer, which the acidic quality of the skin creates; referred to as the acid mantle. The pH value serves to differentiate between acids and alkalis.  To protect the skin against infection, irritation, allergic reactions, and dehydration, the skin maintains an average pH value of 5.5. This pH is achieved by the body's own natural acidic secretions, such as perspiration, sebum (fatty secretions) and various hormones. However, alkaline solutions such as sodium carbonate and sodium palmitate, two popular bases contained in ordinary body soap have a pH value greater than “7”. Conversely, acidic solutions such as acetic acid, lactic acid, and carbonic acid, range between 0 and 7 on the pH scale. Once the skin’s naturally occurring hydrolipidic layer has been compromised by the use of common household soaps or to extent that proper AHA face cleanser do, the skin has lost all or part of its defense against infection. It will take the most resilient skin two hours to recuperate from the negative chemical effects of a typical daily shower. On the other hand, sensitive skin can take as long as 36 hours to re-establish its normal pH of 5.5. Our natural Herbal Toner restores the pH or hydrogen ion concentration in skin, by regulating the balance of acid and alkali on the face.  It also eliminates bacterial and fungal growths.

The Anti-Aging Clinic’s Eye Repair.

          The skin around the eyes is especially difficult to keep young looking.  It is the thinnest skin in the body and year’s of sun damage, cosmetic applications containing fragrance, dye and metal salts, can produce extensive skin damage and sagging.  Copper Eye Repair is gentle around the eye. It is an anti-wrinkle cream containing a special copper blend designed to help your skin's regenerative processes in this delicate area. The Anti-Aging Clinic SKIN HUMIDIFIER.

This is an oil-free moisturizer for all skin types for daily use.  It contains 100 percent pure Hyaluronic Acid, scientifically proven to stimulate new cell growth, and should be used especially after exfoliating the skin.

 Hyaluronic Acid plays an important role in tissue hydration, lubrication, and function at the cellular level. Hyaluronic Acid can hold 70 percent more water than any other natural substance.  Its hydrating properties produce increased smoothness and softening.

Clients can customize the application of sun protection by using this product. It provides optimum sun protection and is100 percent Pure Titanium Dioxide.  Add a few drops to a dime size portion of moisturizer and blend in the palm of the hand before applying to face and neck. The sun protection factor “SPF” of a sunscreen is a laboratory measure of its effectiveness. The higher the SPF, the more protection a sunscreen offers against the Ultraviolet type B radiation that causes sunburn. SPF 15 means that a user can remain in the sun without burning, 15 times longer, than they could without wearing the sun block. But the SPF is an imperfect measurement of skin damage set up by the FDA because of unrealistic claims from manufacturers such as, all day protection that is not attainable. Also because the very common Ultraviolet type A ray from the sun, which does not cause reddening or pain, causes invisible damage leading to skin cancer and wrinkles that some sunscreen often times do not address. This is an Arbutin Whitening Serum found to strongly inhibit enzymes that create pigmentation leading to dark spots or circles on the skin. There are two forms of Arbutin: the ALPHA and the BETA. What is IGF-1?

10.    Gentle Make-Up remover; Remove all makeup at night before any products are applied.

11.    Rose Hip Seed Cleanser, clean face and neck area thoroughly, rinse and pat dry. 

12.    Herbal Toner, apply sparingly to face and neck. 

13.    Nujúvenate-Botox alternative – Place 1 to 2 drops on tip of finger then massage into crows feet on one side of face then repeat to opposite side and repeat to forehead and between eye brow areas.

14.    ALPHA ARBUTIN – Skin Lightening SERUM, Apply 2 to 3 drops to areas of un-even color only, not to entire face and neck.

15.    Copper Serum Maxä, Apply ˝ dropper over face, neck and under eyes.

16.    Copper Eye Repairä, Apply sparingly under eye and area of crow’s feet.

17.    Night Moisturizer, Apply sparingly to face and neck. 

18.    Derma Moistä Moisturizer, Apply face, neck and top of hands.

Lip Plumper apply AM and PM to lips.
